We are delighted to announce the launch of OctoStudio, a new free coding app that makes it easy to create interactive projects anytime anywhere.

New Ways to Create and Explore
The Tinkering Studio has created a wonderfully inspiring new resource called OctoStudio Explorations. Explore a variety of ways you can combine code with everyday materials as tools for creative expression!

Designing OctoStudio to Support Equitable Computational Experiences
OctoStudio has been developed by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab, in collaboration with the Tinkering Studio, Creative Communities group, and other partners from informal and informal learning environments. We've been designing new activities and explorations using OctoStudio together as part of the Facilitating Computational Tinkering project. These and other resources will be shared on the project website to help educators and facilitators in a wide range of learning environments support equitable experiences for young people and families to create and express themselves with computing
